Global Space Innovation Challenge
THE ROAD TO THE
ASTRONAUT EXPERIENCE
The Robotics Challenge by Space Academy Camp is an immersive educational program designed for students aged 11 and above, where technology, creativity, and leadership converge.
Hosted within the inspiring environment of the NASA facilities at the Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Space Coast, this program has been successfully developed for more than 12 years, providing students with the opportunity to experience the world of robotics, engineering, and innovation firsthand.
Through hands-on challenges, collaboration, and real-world problem solving, students develop both technical and leadership skills while working alongside mentors, engineers, and educators.

The Robotics Challenge Experience
1
The Robotics Challenge is an immersive learning experience where students explore the exciting world of robotics, engineering, and innovation through collaborative challenges and hands-on experimentation.
Working in teams, participants are introduced to the fundamentals of robotics and emerging technologies while developing creative solutions through guided activities and technical exploration. Throughout the experience, students engage in a dynamic environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and problem-solving.
As the program progresses, teams refine their ideas, test their technological creations, and prepare for an exciting challenge where creativity, engineering, and teamwork converge.
TECHNOLOGY MEETS ENTREPRENEURSHIP
From Innovation to Impact
2
The Robotics Challenge goes beyond technology. Students are also encouraged to think like innovators and entrepreneurs.
Through guided mentorship and collaborative sessions, teams develop concepts inspired by their technological creations. They explore how innovation can address real-world challenges and generate ideas that could contribute to society or future space exploration.
Participants practice presenting their ideas, strengthening their communication skills and learning how to explain technological concepts in a clear and engaging way.
These presentations are delivered in English, helping students gain confidence in communicating ideas in an international academic environment.
SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE
Beyond Robotics
Throughout the Robotics Challenge, students develop essential 21st-century soft skills, including:
